This website is operated by Serenity Scents by Catherine. By accessing this site or purchasing from us, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
Products
All candles are hand poured. Variations in color, scent strength, or appearance are normal and not considered defects.
All personalized or custom candles are final sale.
Orders & Payments
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including suspected fraud, errors in pricing, or product availability.
Shipping
Shipping times are estimates and not guaranteed. Once an order has been shipped, Serenity Scents by Catherine is not responsible for lost, stolen, delayed, or misdelivered packages.
Refunds
Refunds are handled according to our Refund Policy. By placing an order, you agree to those terms.
General Candle Safety
Never leave a burning candle unattended
Always burn candles within sight
Keep away from children, pets, drafts, and flammable objects
Place candle on a stable, heat resistant surface
Do not move a candle while it is lit or while wax is hot
Burning Instructions
Trim wick to ¼ inch before each burn
Allow wax to melt evenly across the surface on the first burn to prevent tunneling
Do not burn for more than 4 hours at a time
Stop use when ½ inch of wax remains
Container & Wick Safety
Containers may become hot during use — handle with care
Discontinue use if container becomes cracked or damaged
Do not touch or adjust the wick while the candle is burning

Serenity Scents by Catherine is not responsible for any damage, injury, or loss caused by improper use, failure to follow safety instructions, or negligence. Use candles at your own risk.
Important Notice
Candles involve an open flame and should always be used responsibly. By using our products, you assume all risks associated with candle use.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted under Maryland law, Serenity Scents by Catherine shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use or inability to use our products or website.
Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including images, logos, product names, descriptions, and designs, is the property of Serenity Scents by Catherine and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without written permission.
Force Majeure
Serenity Scents by Catherine shall not be held liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to weather conditions, carrier delays, supply shortages, natural disasters, or acts of God.
